In her engagement announcement, Anshula recounted, "We connected through an app and began chatting on a random Tuesday at 1:15 AM. Our conversation lasted until 6 AM, and even then, it felt like the start of something significant. Fast forward three years, in my favorite city, at the castle in Central Park, he proposed! It was exactly 1:15 AM India time, and the world seemed to pause, making the moment feel magical. It was a quiet love that felt like home."

She continued, "I’ve never been one to believe in fairytales, but what @rohanthakkar1511 gave me that day was even better. It was intentional, thoughtful, and genuine. I said yes, through tears, laughter, and a happiness I can hardly describe. Since 2022, it has always been you. I’m engaged to my best friend, my safe haven, my person. My favorite boy, my favorite city, and now, my favorite YES! (Our first meal post-engagement had to be @shakeshack because our first conversation revolved around our love for the shroom burger!
